2011-2012 Fundraising Opportunities

Listed below are various fundraising opportunities available to Starz families as a way to meet their financial obligations.  Please contact the coordinator listed for details about each specific fundraiser.  If you have additional fundraising ideas please contact Libby Norris, parent volunteer, at Libby.Norris@cox.net

Brax Spirit Cup Sales

(sales end April 23, 2012)

These 18 oz. durable plastic, dishwasher-safe cups are great sellers. They are sold as 4-pack cups of the same design and are available in a wide variety of your favorite professional and college sport teams. They make great gifts, so two fundraising sale dates will be offered to Starz families this year – November (for early December delivery) and April (for early May delivery, in time for graduations, etc).

This popular (and yummy!) snack is now available as a fundraiser for organizations, teams, or indivdual players.  Items, flavors, colors, sizes, and cost vary -- contact Jenn Morton for complete details.

Virginia Diner Online Sales

(available September 1, 2011 – July 1, 2012)

The Virginia Diner online fundraiser is now open and is a great fundraising opportunity if you have family and friends who live far away – after their order is placed online, the items are shipped directly to them, so Starz families have nothing to pick-up or deliver! Here is how:
 
Go to www.VirginiaDiner.com and shop on-line – ask your family and friends to do the same.
View your shopping cart and go to “check-out,” you will be asked for three bits of information:
 
Select Region:   Virginia – ALL OTHERS
Select Organization:  Williamsburg Starz
Participant Name: (you will need to type in the player’s full name here – i.e. Suzie Softball)
 
Then proceed to “check-out” and 40% of the sale will be credited to your player’s Starz fundraising account. Virginia Diner sends the Starz Treasurer a quarterly summary of all online activity, including individual player account credits. These credits may not be available for up to 90 days after the date of sale, since the credits are only posted by Virginia Diner quarterly.

Joe Corbi's offers a variety of high quality food items that have been very popular sellers the past few years.  The amount of profit is determined by the number of items we sell as a group -- the more we sell, the more profit we make on each item sold.
